Pool Safety

At Bon Aire Pool, your safety is our top priority.

 

We have strict pool safety rules in place to ensure everyone can enjoy a fun and safe time at our pool. Please review our rules before your visit to ensure a great experience for all.

 

POOL RULES & REGULATIONS

The following rules & regulations are for the protection and benefit of all, to assure safe and sanitary operation of the pool facilities.

  • All residents wishing to use the pool must apply for a pass at registration. Pool passes are valid only for the person to whom they were issued. Loaning of passes will result in confiscation of the pool pass and forfeiture of pool privileges for the remainder of the season.

  • All guests must present guest passes and be accompanied by the sponsoring Bon Aire HOA member for admittance. Members are responsible for advising their guests of ALL pool rules. Guests must leave facility when their sponsoring member leaves the facility.

  • Children less than 14 years of age must at all times be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

  • No diapers allowed. Children must be toilet trained or wearing approved swimming apparel before entering the pool.

  • Children who cannot swim must be within arms‐reach of parent/guardian at all times.

  • All persons using the swimming pool must take a shower before entering the pool.

  • Proper swimming attire must be worn at all times.

  • No floats, tubes, play equipment, snorkels or masks may be used in the pool.

  • Red Cross and the U.S. Coast Guard approved Puddle Jumpers are permitted in the pool.

  • No Diving is allowed.

  • Running, pushing or rough‐housing is not permitted in or around the pool.

  • Personal belongings should be kept within sight at all times. Management is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property.

  • No pets of any kind shall be allowed in the pool area.

  • The pool will close (at the discretion of the lifeguards or management) for any inclement weather, utility failure, or for health and safety reasons with no refund to persons paying guest admission.

  • No glass containers of any kind are permitted in the pool area.

  • Alcoholic beverages of any kind are prohibited in the pool area. Swimming after the consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited.

  • No Smoking or vaping is prohibited in the pool area.

  • Use of profanity or offensive language – witnessed by a lifeguard or reported to a lifeguard – will result in immediate rejection from the pool for the rest of the day and possible review by the HOA Board of Directors.

  • Radios and electronic devices may only be played with the use of headphones. No external speakers permitted.

  • No hanging on the pool divider rope.

  • No food or beverages in the pool or on the pool wet deck allowed.

  • Do not swallow the pool water.

  • No drones, ball playing, frisbees, skateboards, roller blades or scooters permitted in or around the pool area.

  • Lifeguards have been directed by the Board to request assistance from the Suffern Police Department when any situation might threaten or compromise the safety and well‐being of the lifeguard staff, residents, or swimmers.

  • Swimming not permitted when there is no lifeguard on duty.

  • NO REFUNDS.

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMITTANCE TO OR REJECT FROM THE POOL PREMISES, ANY PERSONS FAILING TO COMPLY
